ABOUT SOUTH WEST MOUNTIES MAGIC
The South West Mounties MAGIC’s vision extends beyond the court to enrich communities by fostering a pathway from grassroots to elite levels.
Our aim is to inspire a love for netball while promoting healthy habits and champion inclusivity to aid in creating a brighter future where all community members have the opportunity to experience the joy and empowerment of netball.
Established in 2024, South West Mounties MAGIC are a legal entity owned 50-50 by Liverpool City Netball Association and Mounties Care, who are part of Mounties Group, the largest registered community Club in Australia. The entity is funded by Mounties Group, allowing for long-term financial stability and ensuring there is no adverse financial implications on grassroots in South West Sydney.
In 2026, South West Mounties MAGIC are thrilled to welcome Bankstown City Netball Association as an official Pathway Partner along side Liverpool City Netball Association. This partnership allows for more opportunities for players, coaches and officials to progress into elite levels of netball.

OUR PURPOSE
Our purpose is to build a multicultural and inclusive netball team that aims to keep grassroot sports accessible and affordable, while actively promoting and growing the game of netball throughout our community. We are committed to ensuring this is made possible to every individual and family, fostering connections and opportunities for all.

A Pathway to Greatness
The South West Mounties MAGIC are more than just a professional netball team; we’re a catalyst for developing future stars. Evolving from a partnership between Liverpool City Netball Association (LCNA) and Mounties Care, we offer a robust pathway for aspiring netball players, coaches and officials from grassroots to the elite level. Leveraging off LNCA’s strong representative presence, and as of 2026 joining with Bankstown Netball Association, MAGIC provides a supportive and competitive environment for players to develop their skills and reach their full potential.

Standing true to our MAGIC moniker, we go beyond the court to inspire our community. We champion inclusivity, by fostering a love for netball amongst individuals of all backgrounds. Through the ability to engage with outreach programs, community events, and partnerships with organisations like Mounties Care, MAGIC strives to promote healthy habits and create a positive sporting environment for all.
Competitive Excellence on Display
The South West Mounties MAGIC is a force to be reckoned with in the PROVIDOOR Premier League. We take pride in our commitment to fair play and sportsmanship. Our dedicated team of coaches and highly skilled players continuously strive for excellence and display a captivating brand of netball. This dedication was made evident in the 2024 PROVIDOOR Premier League Grand Final, where MAGIC claimed victory in their inaugural season.
