PARTNERSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT

South West Mounties MAGIC Netball Expands Pathways with Bankstown City Netball Association

South West Mounties MAGIC Netball (MAGIC) is excited to announce the expansion of its franchise pathway network with the formal inclusion of Bankstown City Netball Association (BCNA) as an official Pathway Partner.  This strategic partnership reinforces MAGIC’s commitment to developing elite netball talent and creating accessible opportunities across South West Sydney.

The collaboration with BCNA will give athletes, coaches, and officials direct access to high-performance development programmes, seamlessly connecting grassroots talent to MAGIC’s elite pathways. BCNA’s strong community presence and representative success make them an invaluable addition to the MAGIC franchise.

Dale Hunt, Group CEO of Mounties Group, said: “Our partnership strengthens our mission to create inclusive, high-quality pathways for aspiring netballers. We want every talented player in South West Sydney to have the chance to shine.”

Nicole Oram, President of Bankstown City Netball Association, added:  “We are delighted to join forces with South West Mounties MAGIC. This partnership provides our players and officials with a clear pathway to higher levels of competition while keeping them connected to their local netball community.”

Liverpool City Netball Association (LCNA), who partnered with Mounties Care to launch MAGIC in 2024, welcomed BCNA’s inclusion. Rebecca Macgillivray, President of LCNA, said:
“We are thrilled to expand MAGIC’s impact within South West Sydney. Our long-term goal has always been to create opportunities not just for our own association, but for all netballers in the region.”
With the addition of BCNA and continued collaboration with LCNA, MAGIC Netball is building a powerful legacy of opportunity, excellence, and community engagement. Looking ahead, MAGIC is committed to introducing even more exciting development initiatives in 2026, ensuring that pathways from grassroots to semi-elite continue to grow stronger.

“This partnership is a game-changer for aspiring athletes. It bridges the gap between local competition and elite performance, giving players a clear vision of what’s possible.” Gin Welsh, South West Mounties MAGIC HPM & Opens Coach concluded.
